Locum Consultant Paediatrician with an interest in paediatric emergency medicine
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic paediatric emergency department at University Hospital Lewisham. This post has arisen due to the relocation of the current post holder and is to cover the gap between the post holder leaving and the appointment of a substantive replacement
The post is based exclusively in the paediatric emergency department which is operates under the Children’s and Young People’s Directorate. This is a 10PA post with weekend working in the paediatric emergency department one in six weekends but no general paediatric on call duties. The post is available from April 2018.
University Hospital Lewisham is a busy district general hospital with an excellent reputation for paediatric care.
Applicants are required to be on the Specialist Register with CCT in General Paediatrics or be within six months of obtaining it by the interview date. Grid specialisim in paediatric emergency medicine or equivalent experience is required. Full Registration with the GMC is essential.
