Band 5 staff Nurse Respiratory ward
Band 5 post based in the acute respiratory ward, come along on Thursday, 28th November 2019 from 8.45am - 2.00pm for interviews and assessments at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich.
We have recently established a dedicated acute respiratory unit which specializes in all aspects of acute care including;
• Chest drains
Both teams are welcoming & supportive with a genuine patient centered focus. We want you to help us develop and maintain the highest standards of care.
It’s a chance to develop your specialist acute skills within a working and training environment that encourages all staff to perform to their best. You will be supported in all areas of professional development. This includes access to the practice development team, specialist nurses both inside the hospital and community based care.
It is anticipated that at the end of the year you will have the opportunity to continue to specialize in the area. This will supported by further formal professional education.
This post offers the opportunity to develop further knowledge in respiratory Nursing. It will offer you a sound foundation on which to base your clinical practice in acute care.
In addition, to further support you in your role, the Trust can also offer accredited leadership and management training: Level 5 - Extended Diploma in Management and Leadership. This apprenticeship is fully funded and specifically designed to meet the needs of middle managers wishing to acquire a range of management knowledge and skills and thus develop their career.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
