Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is an Integrated Acute and Community Trust in South East London.

The Clinical Coding Department is looking for an experienced enthusiastic Divisional Lead Clinical Coding Analyst to work at the Lewisham site.

You will have gained experience of coding a number of Specialty areas including Trauma & Orthopaedics, ENT, General Surgery, General/Elderly Medicine, Obstetrics and Paediatrics and will have gained your ACC qualification.

You will be managing your Band 5 Coding Analysts working to ensure the accuracy and quality of coding in your specialty area.

You will provide support and mentoring of your Band 5 Clinical Coding Analysts as well as engaging with clinicians in your specialty area.

You will also be expected to continue your professional development by rotation through the specialties and attending Coding courses and other relevant training courses.

20% R&R premium (Bands 5– 6) payable (long term basis) for staff with ACC qualification.
