Speech and Language Therapist Band 7 Lewisham Stroke Enablement Service
37.5 hours per week (Part-time hours would be considered)
We are offering an exciting career opportunity for an experienced speech and language therapist to join our newly expanded multi-disciplinary Enablement Stroke In - Reach service focusing on the early discharge of patients from hospital following a stroke and the patient’s initial and ongoing rehabilitation in the community. We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic team player to fill this specialist clinical position and to lead on this service. We can offer a varied experience where you will be able to develop both clinical and managerial skills in a community setting. There is also an opportunity to continue to provide speech and language therapy intervention with individuals with other neurological conditions.
You will be joining a team of 4.79 wte SALT working within the Lewisham Adult Therapy Team working with individuals with long term conditions within the community and supporting the speech and language therapy provision to the stroke pathway.
Learning and personal development is encouraged and we have a well-established appraisal system and funding for relevant courses.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
