Our Speciality:

Solid Tumour and Haemato-Oncology for malignancies as well as Clinical Haematology care is provided by Ward 21, Macmillan Brook Unit (MBU).

Our Services

We are extremely proud of our service provision and this Band 5 staff nurse post will give you an excellent opportunity to develop and gain experience within a Cancer setting.  

Solid Tumour and Haemato-Oncology for malignancies as well as Clinical Haematology care is provided by Ward 21, MBU.  The MBU is a unique unit containing an outpatient department, Day Treatment Unit and Inpatient ward (Ward 21) on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Site. 

Ward 21 on the QEH site, provides high quality specialised care to patients diagnosed with solid tumours and haematological malignancies as well as clinical haematology conditions. The Ward specialises in the delivery of Systemic Anti Cancer Therapies including chemotherapy, provision of augmented and supportive care.  The nursing team also provide support to patients via an out of hour’s telephone advice line for patients undergoing treatment for cancer.
