Applications are invited for 3 enthusiastic Paediatric Colleagues to join the department from the start of January 2019 (one post) and March 2019 (2 posts) until September 2019. This is an opportunity to join the Paediatric Middle Grade rota; the post will be based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich and is an exciting opportunity to join the Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is a new Trust formed on 1st October 2013, following the merger of Lewisham Healthcare NHS Trust and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Greenwich.  We are a committed multi- professional team who provide much-valued hospital and community services as one organisation. We offer medical, surgical and emergency services to local residents, and also provide a range of specialist services for South East London and beyond. Our community health professionals work closely with the hospital and GPs to provide support to adults and children in their own homes and across a range of health centres and clinics.

The time will be spent at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on the General Paediatric Ward, Paediatric Ambulatory Care Unit and Special Care Baby Unit. It is well equipped with dedicated paediatric outpatients, 20-bedded children’s ward, neonatal unit and a community nursing team.

Applicants must hold MRCPCH part 1 or equivalent, and MRCPCH part 2 would be desirable.
