We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Band 7 Radiographer to join our cross sectional team, who are enthusiastic, friendly and highly skilled. This is a challenging role within a stimulating and fast paced work environment across both sites at LGT.
Excellent communication skills and team working abilities are essential for this post.
As a Band 7 you would play an integral role in the daily operational running of the scanners, managing departmental workflows and teams to ensure delivery of a high quality and patient focused service.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years in depth cross sectional and recent NHS experience supporting acute Imaging services. With the support of the cross sectional Superintendents, this position will provide an opportunity for a suitable candidate to gain operational, leadership and line management experience as well as supporting optimal resource usage to meet service requirements, including capacity management of the LGT scanners.
We offer experience in frontline cross sectional radiography across a range of specialties and case mix, including cardiac, colon and vascular; making this an ideal opportunity to develop your radiographic skills within a friendly modern department.
This is an exciting time to join our Trust as we are in the process of acquiring one of the latest high-end technology CT scanner capable of acquiring high quality images in one rotation and a third MRI scanner (Siemens AERA) to be based on the Lewisham site with a go-live on March 2018.
The Radiology Department is in the process of applying to start the Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme (ISAS) process in 2018 to ensure we consistently provide high quality services delivered by competent staff working in safe environments.
