Clinical Fellow (ST1-2 Level) within Stroke and Geriatric Medicine - 1 post

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust are offering an exciting opportunity to become part of a vibrant, forward thinking team within Elderly Medicine on our Lewisham site. We welcome applicants who are motivated to become part of the further development of the rapid access stroke and TIA service, alongside the implementation of a new rapid assessment model of acute geriatric care.

We welcome applicants who are motivated to become part of the implementation of a new medical model of acute care, with enhanced and rapid specialty input, alongside an elderly frail medical assessment and admissions unit run by the Care of the Elderly team.

If you are looking for further general geriatrics experience plus the ability to develop your sub-specialty stroke interest, then you would be well suited to this position, which will both increase your level of confidence and provide strong CV development.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a Trust which is committed to delivering the highest standards of acute care to our local population, to develop new services, and to enhance links with our tertiary partners. This post is for a 12 months period with a possibility for extension, with no on call commitment.
